Every once in a while, a lyric stops being just part of a song and becomes part of the way you live.

For me, it’s not about having the perfect soundtrack. It’s about finding words that remind you to keep moving when life gets heavy.

One lyric that’s always resonated with me is:

“I’ve been through the fire, and I’ve been through the rain.”

Life isn’t supposed to be easy. Businesses fail. Relationships end. Money comes and goes. Projects take longer than expected. Some days you feel unstoppable, and other days you’re just trying to make it through.

The people who win aren’t the ones who never struggle.

They’re the ones who keep showing up.

That’s been my focus lately. Building Modern Day Dealer one video, one blog post, one workout, one repair job, and one conversation at a time.

Halloween 225 isn’t just about losing weight. It’s proof that consistency beats motivation. Some days I’m fired up. Other days I’m sore, tired, or distracted.

I still show up.

As I thought about today’s prompt, I realized something.

Maybe it isn’t one lyric that sticks with us forever.

Maybe it’s the message behind it.

Keep going.

Keep building.

Keep believing that today’s work becomes tomorrow’s freedom.

Because one day you’ll look back and realize the song wasn’t just playing in the background…

It was telling the story you were living.
