What’s the funniest misunderstanding you’ve ever been part of?
People think the funniest misunderstandings happen in conversations.
I think they happen in life.
People see an old truck and assume you can’t afford something newer.
They see someone working in a garage and assume they’re struggling.
They see a quiet man and assume he lacks confidence.
They see someone driving an older vehicle and never realize it was bought with cash while the person next to them is drowning in payments.
I’ve been misunderstood more times than I can count.
Some people think I just like fixing old cars.
They don’t realize I’m testing business models.
They think I’m wasting time in the garage.
I’m building content that will keep paying long after the wrench is put away.
They think the cigar means I’m relaxing.
Usually, I’m thinking about the next company, the next investment, or the next hundred videos.
The funniest misunderstanding?
People often mistake patience for a lack of ambition.
The truth is, I’m playing a much longer game.
I’ve learned you don’t need everyone to understand your vision.
You just need enough discipline to keep building it.
One day, what looked confusing to everyone else becomes obvious.
Until then…
Keep building quietly.
Let the results do the explaining.
