If you had to be an animal for a week, which one would you be and why?
If I had to be an animal for a week, I’d choose an eagle.
Not because it’s the strongest.
Not because it’s the fastest.
Because it has perspective.
An eagle spends most of its life above the noise. While everything below is fighting for attention, reacting to every distraction, and chasing the next opportunity, the eagle is watching. It isn’t in a hurry. It waits for the right moment, then moves with purpose.
The older I get, the more I realize that’s the kind of life I want to build.
When I was younger, I believed success came from working harder than everyone else. There was some truth to that. Long days, constant hustle, and taking every opportunity helped me build businesses and learn lessons that shaped who I am.
But now I understand something different.
Success isn’t just about working harder. It’s about seeing farther.
Today, I’m building assets instead of just income. A blog that grows every day. Videos that continue working long after I publish them. Relationships that matter. A business that creates freedom instead of consuming all of it.
That’s the eagle mindset.
Rise above the distractions.
Ignore the unnecessary drama.
Keep your eyes on the horizon instead of the headlines.
Most people spend their lives reacting. I want to spend mine creating.
The eagle reminds me that the best decisions usually come from a place of clarity, not chaos. You don’t have to chase everything. You don’t have to answer every critic. You don’t have to fly at the same altitude as everyone else.
Sometimes the greatest advantage is simply seeing what others can’t.
That’s the life I’m trying to build.
Not louder.
Higher.
