The Life You’re Building Should Feed You

There was a time when every meal felt rushed.

Eat in the truck.
Eat between appointments.
Eat because you had to.

Today was different.

This morning started with a podcast alongside two entrepreneurs who have built their own paths. We spent hours talking about what it means to create something instead of waiting for someone else to hand you an opportunity.

By the afternoon, I was back home with a steak on the table, coffee over ice, a cigar in hand, and the Chevelle waiting in the garage.

That moment made me realize something.

The life you’re building should feed you.

Not just financially.

Mentally.
Physically.
Spiritually.

It should create the freedom to slow down for a great meal before getting back to work. It should surround you with people who challenge you to think bigger. It should give you projects you’re excited to wake up and tackle.

Success isn’t just the money in your account.

It’s looking around and realizing your days are starting to look like the life you imagined years ago.

I’m not at the finish line.

I’m still building.

But today felt like one of those days where all the pieces started fitting together.

The podcast.

The relationships.

The opportunities.

The garage.

The steak.

The work.

None of it happened overnight.

It came from showing up, one day at a time.

Keep building.

Eventually, your life starts looking like something you don’t need a vacation from.

Some people chase a paycheck.

I’m trying to build a life.

A day filled with meaningful work, good people, a great meal, and projects I’m excited to wake up for.

That’s wealth to me.
