For years, I thought success meant chasing everything.

The next deal.
The next house.
The next car.
The next relationship.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to see it differently.

A friend of mine recently shared a quote that stuck with me:

“Love isn’t just a feeling. It’s a choice you make every day.”

That got me thinking.

Maybe the goal isn’t to chase people.

Maybe the goal is to become someone who lives with purpose, integrity, and consistency.

When you build a life you’re proud of, you’re no longer searching for someone to complete you. You’re looking for someone to share the journey with.

That applies to business, too.

I didn’t build Modern Day Dealer by waiting for motivation. I built it by showing up—one video, one blog, one livestream at a time.

Relationships work the same way.

The strongest ones aren’t built on excitement alone. They’re built on trust, loyalty, and choosing each other even after the honeymoon phase is over.

If you’re single, don’t panic.

Use the time to improve your health.
Build your business.
Learn new skills.
Strengthen your faith.
Spend time with good friends.
Become someone you’d be proud to meet.

The right people are usually attracted to people who are already moving forward.

Stop chasing.

Start building.

Everything else has a way of catching up.
