What’s a book you think deserves a sequel?
If someone asked me what book deserves a sequel, I could name a classic. I could pick a bestseller. I could probably come up with a clever answer.
But the truth is, the only book I’m really interested in seeing the next chapter of is my own.
Every one of us is writing a story whether we realize it or not.
Some chapters are exciting. Some are painful. Some are filled with growth, while others feel like you’ve been stuck on the same page for years.
I’ve had chapters I’d rather forget.
I’ve made mistakes. I’ve trusted the wrong people. I’ve watched relationships fall apart. I’ve started businesses, lost money, rebuilt, and started over more than once.
For a long time, I thought those chapters defined the story.
They don’t.
They’re just chapters.
The beautiful thing about life is that the pen never leaves your hand.
Every morning you get another blank page.
Another chance to make a better decision.
Another opportunity to become a stronger version of yourself.
That’s why I blog every day. It’s why I make videos even when they don’t get many views. It’s why I work on old cars, build businesses, train my body, and keep showing up.
Those aren’t random tasks.
They’re sentences in the next chapter.
The sequel I’m writing looks different than the first book.
It’s built on discipline instead of motivation.
Consistency instead of shortcuts.
Peace instead of chaos.
Purpose instead of proving something to everyone else.
Most people spend too much time rereading old chapters—replaying regrets, reliving failures, wishing they could rewrite yesterday.
I’d rather spend my energy writing tomorrow.
If your story hasn’t gone the way you hoped so far, remember this:
The best authors know that the middle of the book is rarely the ending.
You don’t need a different beginning.
You need to keep writing.
Because the best chapter of your life might still be ahead of you.
And that’s a sequel worth reading.
