There was a time when I thought success meant always chasing the next thing.
Work harder.
Sleep less.
Never stop.
I’ve learned something different.
The cigar doesn’t mean much if you haven’t earned it.
Today the Mercedes fired up and rolled out of the garage. The Chevelle went back in. More projects are waiting, more content needs to be created, and there will always be another deal to chase.
But for one hour tonight, I slowed down.
I lit one of the new Conor McGregor Notorious “Unapologetic” cigars and just enjoyed the moment.
Not because I was finished.
Because I made progress.
I’ve realized that’s what this season of life is really about. Building businesses. Building cars. Building relationships. Building yourself.
Then taking a moment to appreciate how far you’ve already come before getting back to work.
Tomorrow, the grind starts all over again.
And I’m looking forward to it.

The Mercedes is running. The Chevelle is next. Tonight’s reward: a good cigar and a little perspective. π¨
