If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Most people answer this question with a city, a beach, or a country.
A cabin in the mountains.
A penthouse overlooking the ocean.
A ranch with endless land.
A villa somewhere overseas.
But I’ve realized something over the years…
The older I get, the less I care about the location and the more I care about the lifestyle.
I want to wake up with peace.
I want a garage full of projects that make me excited to get out of bed.
I want coffee on the dock, a cigar at sunset, a workout that leaves me exhausted, meaningful conversations with good people, and work that actually matters.
To me, freedom isn’t about the zip code.
It’s about owning your time.
It’s about building a life where Monday feels just as good as Saturday because you’re doing work you chose.
I’ve lived enough life to know that no city, state, or country will magically fix what’s going on inside your head. If you don’t have purpose, you’ll carry that emptiness wherever you go.
Build the life first.
Then choose the place that supports it.
For me?
A waterfront home with a big garage, room for friends and family, a place to build cars, create content, think, and enjoy the quiet.
That’s enough.
Because the best place in the world is wherever you become the best version of yourself.
Where would you live if you could choose anywhere—and more importantly, what kind of life would you build once you got there?
