I Didn’t Need More Information. I Needed More Execution.
There was a time when I thought the answer to every problem was more information.
Another book.
Another podcast.
Another YouTube video.
Another conversation.
Another course.
Another strategy.
I convinced myself I was learning, when in reality, I was delaying.
The truth is, most of us already know what we need to do.
We know we need to make the call.
We know we need to go to the gym.
We know we need to have the difficult conversation.
We know we need to stop procrastinating.
We know we need to start the business, post the content, fix the problem, or take the first step.
The issue isn’t usually a lack of knowledge.
It’s a lack of execution.
I’ve spent over 25 years in business, and one thing I’ve learned is that action creates clarity.
Not the other way around.
Most people are waiting until they have the perfect plan.
The perfect timing.
The perfect confidence.
The perfect set of circumstances.
Meanwhile, the people who are moving forward are simply taking the next step.
They don’t know everything.
They just started.
Looking back, some of the biggest opportunities in my life didn’t come because I had all the answers.
They came because I took action before I felt ready.
I bought the car.
I made the call.
I opened the business.
I posted the video.
I hit publish.
Then I figured it out.
Execution has a way of teaching lessons that information never can.
You can spend months studying how to swim.
Or you can get in the water.
You can spend years planning your future.
Or you can start building it today.
At some point, the answer isn’t another book, another podcast, or another expert.
The answer is action.
Because the life you’re looking for is usually on the other side of the work you’ve been avoiding.
