Owning Better, Not Less

Do you believe in minimalism?

Yes and no.

I don’t believe in minimalism when it comes to opportunity.

I believe in collecting assets.

Businesses.

Real estate.

Relationships.

Skills.

Knowledge.

Experiences.

I don’t think the goal is to own less.

I think the goal is to own better.

But I do believe in eliminating distractions.

The older I get, the more I realize success isn’t about doing more things.

It’s about doing fewer things better.

Most people don’t have a lack of opportunity.

They have a lack of focus.

Every day there are new business ideas.

New investments.

New side hustles.

New distractions.

The challenge isn’t finding opportunities.

The challenge is deciding which opportunities deserve your attention.

For me, minimalism isn’t about living in an empty house or owning one pair of shoes.

It’s about protecting my time and energy.

It’s about focusing on the things that actually move my life forward.

Building businesses.

Creating content.

Growing assets.

Spending time with people I care about.

Learning new skills.

Everything else is just noise.

The more I simplify my focus, the more progress I seem to make.

Maybe that’s the version of minimalism I believe in.

Not owning less.

But eliminating more.

Intentional Owning.

I don’t believe in owning less.

I believe in owning things that matter.

Things with stories.

Things with purpose.

Things that make life better.

This Chevelle isn’t transportation.

It’s a memory.

It’s a passion.

It’s an asset.

The older I get, the less interested I am in collecting stuff and the more interested I am in collecting things worth keeping.

That’s the version of minimalism I believe in.

Own less junk.

Own more meaning.
