THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DREAMING AND DOING
For years, I talked about starting a blog.
Not days.
Not months.
Years.
I’d buy domains.
Sketch ideas.
Talk about content.
Talk about YouTube.
Talk about business.
Talk about building a brand.
But talking isn’t building.
The last couple weeks have reminded me of something important.
Momentum changes everything.
The blog is live.
The YouTube channel keeps growing.
Videos are being uploaded daily.
Ideas are finally turning into assets.
That’s the key.
Assets.
A video is an asset.
A blog post is an asset.
A relationship is an asset.
A business is an asset.
A skill is an asset.
Every day you create something, you’re stacking another brick on the foundation.
Most people are consuming.
Very few are creating.
Creating is harder.
It’s uncomfortable.
Nobody claps for your first blog post.
Nobody cares about your first video.
Nobody notices the first 100 reps.
But eventually the work starts stacking.
Then people look at what you’ve built and think it happened overnight.
It didn’t.
It happened one small action at a time.
One post.
One video.
One conversation.
One workout.
One decision.
One day.
That’s where I am right now.
Not finished.
Not even close.
But moving.
And moving feels a lot better than standing still.
The goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is momentum.
Because momentum creates opportunities.
Momentum creates confidence.
Momentum creates growth.
And eventually, momentum creates freedom.
Today I’ll keep building.
One more post.
One more video.
One more brick.
Let’s see where it leads.
